Nylon Sheets from Ready Plastics offer excellent toughness, wear resistance, and impact strength, making them ideal for structural panels, wear plates, and precision-machined components. Their low friction and high machinability ensure reliable performance in applications requiring durability, strength, and smooth operation under load.
Nylon Sheet Details
Nylon materials maintain toughness and strength over a broad temperature range but can soften at elevated temperatures. Glass- or carbon-filled grades dramatically improve heat resistance and dimensional stability. The hygroscopic nature of Nylon is its most important limitation in precision applications — moisture absorption can cause expansion and loss of stiffness. However, it also enhances toughness and reduces brittleness.
